We are in need of volunteers to help assist visitors in learning about the lighthouse and our maritime history. Volunteers must be eighteen years of age or older.
Opportunities for volunteers include welcoming visitors, guiding tours, planning and helping with special events, giving presentations to groups during the summer and early fall season, working in the gift shop or selling tickets for the Tower climb. Please visit our volunteer page for more information.
Lighthouse Passport Book
You can keep a record of all the lighthouses you visit in an official Lighthouse Passport Book!
If a lighthouse is closed in our area, you can still get all three stamps at the Presque Isle Lighthouse during business hours. It is suggested that visitors donate a dollar ($1) to the local preservation initiative for each stamp, which will help “Keep the Light Shining“.
Join the Passport Book Club by clicking on the US Lighthouse Society’s website at www.uslhs.org. to get all of the details online. It is a free service.
